🥞 Ingredients (for 1 person)

You can easily double this for more people.

  • 1/2 cup of oats

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 egg

  • Toppings: Honey, Berries

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Blend the oats
In a blender, add the oats and blend them for about 5 seconds.

  2. Add the ingredients to a ball
First, add the banana and smash it with a fork. Then add the egg and, lastly, the oats, and mix them well together.

  3. Heat the pan
Place a non-stick pan on medium heat. Add a tiny bit of butter or oil and spread it around.

  4. Cook the pancakes

    • Pour small circles of batter into the pan.

    • When you see bubbles on the surface and the edges look set, flip them gently.

    • Cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden.

  5. Serve immediately
Stack them up, add your toppings, take a cute photo if you’re that girl (same), and eat while warm.

✨ Little “Almost Fancy” upgrades (optional)

If you want to make them feel a bit fancier without much effort:

  • Add a handful of chocolate chips to the batter.

  • Mix some cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle on top.

  • Warm frozen berries with a spoonful of sugar in a small pan to make a quick “sauce”.

  • Use a small glass or ring to make them all the same size for the aesthetic.

  • Make savory ones as well for a full meal.

This recipe is simple enough for busy mornings, but cozy enough to feel like a tiny weekend treat — very Almost Fancy.
